Join Mary Webb and special guests for the launch of 'Fly On The Table', the second single from Mary's upcoming album 'Love Like Planets'. Listen to the single here!

Mary Webb

"...an original music prodigy." -Stereonet 2017

Captivating vocals, catchy, offbeat guitar picking and a swig of poetry, you can see why Mary Webb has been described as "a shining light" in the Adelaide Folk scene. Drawing on a vast array of musical influences, Mary’s songs are thoughtful yet frank, exploring human fragility, self-discovery and connection.

Her second studio album 'Love Like Planets' was recorded in January 2017 at Snow Ghost Studies in Montana, USA. While her previous releases have been predominantly acoustic, the new album also features an impressive four-piece studio band form Portland. Band mates include Cory Gray (keys, trumpet; appears on records by Decemberists, Grails, Nocturnal Habits, Norfolk & Western, The Dodos, Hosannas, Mirah), Daniel Hindman (guitar; co-creator of the band Pure Bathing Culture), Brian Wright (drums; Pure Bathing Culture) and Zachary Tillman (bass; Pearly Gate Music, Fleet Foxes). The full album will be released in February 2018, with CD, Vinyl and hi-res download available.

Loren Kate

"Engaging, sensitive and impossible not to fall in love with." -RTRFM (Perth)

Enchantingly beautiful, down-to-earth and absolutely spellbinding, Loren Kate has cast a sublime and haunting web over audiences around the country with her unique and unforgettable sound and soul.
Having travelled and toured to most corners of Australia over the years, Loren has steadily forged a close relationship with her music and the land, having penned songs in just about every town from Fremantle to Byron Bay.

Over the last few years, Loren has travelled extensively around the country, taking her music from the deserts to the seas and back again. She has performed at countless venues and festivals around the country including Woodford Folk Festival (QLD), Peats Ridge Folk Festival (NSW), Fairbridge Festival (WA), Fleurieu Folk Festival (SA), Tamar Valley Folk Festival (Tas), Earthdance (WA), Alice Springs Desert Festival (NT), Oenpelli Open Day (NT), Go Organic Festival (SA) and was awarded most promising emerging artist at the Nannup Music Festival (WA).

Loren Kate has also shared the stage with such fine musicians as Tim Freedman (The Whitlams), iOTA, Epicure, Vika and Linda Bull (The Black Sorrows), Steve Poltz and folk legend Eric Bogle.

The Winter Gypsy (trio)

The Winter Gypsy are a six-piece indie folk group from Adelaide, South Australia. Forming as a collusion of four separate bands in August, 2015, the band ranges from soft folk melodies and haunting vocal harmonies to soaring, upbeat instrumentals. The band has a complex dichotomy of both ambient and driving, distorted solos. Drawing comparisons to The Middle East, Bon Iver, and Bombay Bicycle Club, their sound is complemented by an intense and intricate range of instruments.

Supporting the likes of Little May, Ziggy Alberts, Tash Sultana, High Highs, Tully on Tully, Drawing North and the Meeting Tree, the band's loyal fan-base has resulted in several sold out headline shows. Debut single 'People' was featured on the popular Portuguese based YouTube Channel "Mostly Strings" and attracted over one hundred thousand views and an overwhelming positive response among an international audience. With a regular rotation on Triple J Unearthed and several features on Roots and All hosted by Sarah Howells; there is a lot of hype growing around the new band.

"The Winter Gypsy opened the evening with a collection of soothing indie tracks that filtered between folk and pop. Apart from obvious comparisons to the sadly departed The Middle East and Bon Iver, singer/guitarist, Tushar Singh showed off his well-pitched breathy vocals that sometimes ventured into the crooning territory of a smoothed King Krule." - YEWTH Mag.
