The Lynden Sculpture Garden, Boswell Book Company, and Milwaukee Reads presents Mary Alice Monroe, author of The Summer of Lost and Found

About this Event

Mary Alice Monroe returns to the Women's Speaker Series for a virtual event presented by the Lynden Sculpture Garden, Boswell Book Company, and Milwaukee Reads. Her latest novel is THE SUMMER OF LOST AND FOUND, part of the Milwaukee Reads series.

Linnea Rutledge faces a layoff from the aquarium she adores. adores. For her and her family, finances, emotions, and health teeter at the brink. To complicate matters, her new love interest, Gordon, struggles to return to the Isle of Palms from England. Meanwhile, her old flame, John, turns up from California and is quarantining next door.

Love in the time of the coronavirus proves challenging, at times humorous, and ever changing. Relationships are redefined, friendships made and broken, and marriages tested. In The Summer of Lost and Found, Mary Alice Monroe brings her sensitive and true storytelling to this poignant and timely novel.

Tickets are $5 or upgrade to a book with admission for $28. $5 from each ticket is donated back to the Lynden Sculpture Garden. More about joining the Lynden Sculpture Garden at https://www.lyndensculpturegarden.org/join-give .
