Event description
A series of seminars centered on personal growth and professional development for BIPOC educators within an inclusive and safe community.

About this event

Throughout the Martinez Fellowship Seminar series, we will engage in a variety of structured activities, workshops, and dialogues that serve as a space for us to examine the impact of racism and colonizing behaviors and mindset on self, others, and systems.

Each seminar will focus on a phase of Liberation Pedagogy; first to recognize, then subsequently challenge and unlearn traditional norms, replace those norms with more inclusive pedagogical practices, and finally collectively engage in a practice of reflective and liberated leadership.
