Martin Luther King Multi-Purpose Center's 2023 Annual Awards Benefit Gala

Christmas Day 2022 will be remembered on Bethune Boulevard in Spring Valley, New York for a rather unexpected ‘gift’ – the bursting of a couple frozen pipes, which left a long trail of damage. As of this writing, the Martin Luther King Multi-Purpose Center is still closed to the public. Our staff have worked tirelessly to engage and maintain critical programs. As such, our 2023 gala theme is Building Back Our Beloved Community Better than Before.

The Martin Luther King Center’s 30th Annual Awards Benefit Gala will take place on Sunday, April 30th, 2023, from 4:00pm - 9:00 pm at The Paramount Country Club in New City, New York. The reception will begin at 4pm followed by dinner and dancing from 5pm to 9pm. Please join us to honor our Beloved Community leaders, and enjoy music, dancing, delicious food and wonderful fellowship.

This year's honorees are:

• Pilgrim Baptist Church, Nyack, N.Y.
• Michael Smith, Director of Fine & Performing Arts, ERCSD
• Grant Valentine, Trustee, Rockland Community College
• Sandra Zimmerman, Volunteer & Advocate, MLKMPC
