MaRMN & Neuroscience & Mental Health Research Domain Neuro-regeneration Sym...
Fri, May 12, 2017, 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM CDT
The symposium, planned in collaboration with the MaRM Network and the Neuroscience & Mental Health Research Domain, will focus on regeneration of the central, peripheral and sensory nervous systems, with respect to both basic research and its clinical application. The subjects addressed will include the use of human neural stem cell to treat late stage ischaemic stroke, repair of vision via gene therapy, the use of novel biomaterials to enhance peripheral nerve regeneration and novel biomarker discovery for the early diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease.
