First Friday with SBA: Marketing to the Government
You registered your firm in the System for Award Management (SAM) to get into government contracting. Your firm may have even qualified for one or more socio-economic contracting certifications, such as HUBZone or woman-owned; but how do you start getting federal government contracts?
Attend January’s First Friday with SBA session and learn how to sell to the government.
This class will help you find opportunities in government contracting using FedBizOpps.gov, the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS) and by reaching out to the correct acquisition professional in the federal government. You will also get a chance to speak to and get tips from Melissa Blair, a former Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson contracting officer.
