Delivering effective marketing and positively impacting the bottom line of your client, customer, or employer is how a marketer can really become influential. The marketing role can often be seen as a cost to the business, so to avoid this marketers must show how their activity will increase revenues and grow profitability.

In this evening session, we’ve gathered together marketing experts and agency owners to discuss how marketers can build influence; harness the power of data and achieve marketing effectiveness.

Speakers include:

  • Marcus Hadfield, Chief Strategy Officer, Apadmi. With a hugely varied project list, Marcus splits his time between leading on strategy for Apadmi’s clients, and working with Apadmi Ventures to identify and support the highly-scaleable tech start-ups they work with.
  • Rachel Emson, Managing Director, Vivid. Rachel listens, consults with clients and analyses insights to ensure Vivid delivers the most effective brands, campaigns and content. Engaging with all parties to design the outcomes; putting meaningful measures in place to monitor objectives; finding creative solutions to cut through; delivering an integrated mix of PR, Social, digital, print, broadcast and advertising solutions to measuring ROI, reporting and acting on the results.
  • Jane Hunt, Marketing Director, JBH. Jane is the Marketing Director and co-founder of JBH - The Content Agency. With offices in both Northampton and Manchester, Jane splits her time between the two locations and is responsible for growing the agencies profile in both locations, whilst ensuring that the digital and online PR service offering is hitting targets.
  • Rick Guttridge, Managing Director, Smoking Gun PR. Rick's role is managing the heads of departments and key outsourced partners to keep the ship moving in the right direction of travel no matter what the 'weather' throws at them!

This event will help you to understand:

  • Why engaging the rest of the business in your goals and objectives could be the key to your success and how to achieve this

  • The importance of creating and executing a marketing strategy and how this will help you to better monitor your results and effectiveness

  • How data and creativity can (and should) work hand in hand

  • How to choose the metrics that matter
