Marketing for Non-Profit Organizations: Engaging Donors and Sponsors
Sat, March 25, 2017, 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM EDT
Donors and Sponsors are two of the four key target audiences for a non-profit (volunteers and consumers, round out this group). It's imperative that these groups be communicated with effectively. More, building a relationship with your sponsors and donors, both existing and potential, is key to your organization's existence, and account balance.
Every communication an organization has with its sponsors, and donors, is a form of marketing that affects whether your target audience continues to feel good about giving money or in-kind gifts to your program. Additionally, each communication with a potential sponsor or donor affects whether that potential is ever realized.
So, how do we engage and excite this audience? What do we need to keep them, or bring them on, as partners in our endeavors to make the world a better place?
1. We show the value of what we do
2. We know our audience
3. And we create a balanced message that evokes the appropriate emotion, and doubles as a call to action
Join us as we walk through the steps to Engaging Donors and Sponsors, and encouraging them to put their money where our mouth is.
