About the Boot Camp
The Marketing Essentials Boot Camp is a hands-on workshop for local Hampton Roads entrepreneurs and small business purveyors in Norfolk, Chesapeake, Newport News, Hampton, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Poquoson, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, Hampton, York County and Richmond. Participants will meet like-minded folks working to launch new ventures in a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, mobile application development, government, medical devices, and others.
What Will I Learn?
In each evening session, participants will be led through the basics of creating AND implementing various elements in an integrated marketing plan. We'll begin with broad marketing topics such as branding, identity, customer profiling, and market segmentation. In subsequent sessions, participants will learn about B2B vs B2C marketing techniques, social media management tools, and content strategy development. Every session will end with practical exercises that double as REAL marketing resources, collateral and tangible strategies for use in promotional efforts on and offline.
