Description

Julie Bennett Hume is a singer-songwriter from Stilwell, Kansas. She has been playing folk music for over 35 years in the Lawrence/Kansas City area. She has played in numerous folk ensembles such as The Kansas City Cajun Band, The All Night Fiddlers, Manos and Table for Three. She is a recording artist for the Lost Cowgirl record label. Her newest CD, Vinegar, will be coming out in October of 2019 with a release show at The Mark on November, 1.

Julie has played The Mark before as a member of the Lost Cowgirl Revue. She also performs with the Stray Grays and other music ensembles throughout the city. Julie is a big supporter of The Mark Music Shows and The Mark Youth & Community Center Project.

The Mark is pleased to announce that on November 2nd, Marshall Hall will be graced by the sounds of Julie Bennett Hume as she releases her new work Vinegar. Admission to this event will be $20 cash at the door. Please, no credit cards or checks. Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite for $15+fee. Proceeds will be split with the musicians and The Mark Youth & Community Center Project. Refreshments will be available from the Equal Minded Cafe. Non-alcoholic beverages are available for sale.
