Whether you are a parent, a business owner, a teacher, counselor or community member you will need to know, and be able to educate others, about the truth about marijuana/cannabis. This day long training will provide you with factual information about the drug. You will leave with a better understanding of the impact of cannabis addiction, have the chance to see the latest trends in products, see the impact on mental health, and have time to discuss the implications of medical marijuana & legalization. Come and hear about the “Other Side of Cannabis”.
Participants will leave with an increased knowledge about cannabis, be able to articulate Cannabis’ impact on the brain, become educated on the impact of cannabis on education, impairment on the job and long term consequences

Debby Haskins, MS, LADC
is a Suicide Prevention trainer for the Center for Health & Learning.
Debby has been in the field of substance abuse prevention and treatment for over 28 years. She is an educator through out VT, teaches online courses, and is the former Executive Director of the Student Assistance Professionals of Vermont. Debby has a private practice in Waterbury.
