Description

This educational event is intended for Township and City Officials, elected council members and any other employee of the respective cities that will have a vested interest in voting on allowing medical marijuana dispensaries and edibles.The intent of this event is to provide you with a more comprehensive overview of the
regulation system and what it will mean for each city/township.

The event is free to attend but you must register to reserve your seat.

Featured speakers:

1:00-2:30PM: Dale Quigley (“Quig”) is the Deputy Coordinator of the National Marijuana Initiative for the HIDTA program in the United States; responsible for providing information and education on issues surrounding marijuana. Prior to this he had served at the Rocky Mountain HIDTA in Denver from 2011 – 2016 as the Manager of Intelligence and later overseeing the training program.

2:30-3:30PM: Tony Coder from SAM (Smart Approaches to Marijuana). Tony is the Director of State and Local Affairs for SAM. He previously worked for the Drug Free Action Alliance where he was the policy director for behavioral health issues for the agency.
