Margaritaville Run

It’s 5 Kilometers somewhere! Envision a perfect stroll on the beach, or a jog along a board walk where the ocean breeze is refreshing and there are plenty of bars to stop at along the way. This “virtual” run/walk is your escape to paradise where exercise is fun and the reward is even better.

About this event:

Run or walk 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) at your preferred pace and at your leisure. Find a route near your home or drive to your favorite trail or park. If you live near a beach, a walk at low tide during sunset may be just what’s prescribed. All are welcome and the challenge is easy, so take a friend and get outside and when you are finished, relax, have a margarita, and start planning your next tropical adventure.

Bonus Margaritaville Challenge!

In addition to the 5K, run or walk a cumulative 75 miles before a certain someone’s 75th birthday (December 25th, 2021)!

It’s 5 Kilometers Somewhere! This package includes an official Margaritaville Run t-shirt, exclusive finisher medal, race number bib, leaderboard access and margarita making kit (sorry, tequila not included!). Simply have fun while running or walking a 5K (3.1 miles), and we will mail your items! Post your time to the official leaderboard where all finishing times are welcome, and your personal best is at the top of our leaderboard no matter where you rank.

Margaritaville Challenge! For those who want to show their true devotion! In addition to the official Margaritaville Run t-shirt, finisher medal, race number bib, and margarita making kit, receive a special 75-mile margarita charm and Margaritaville Flip flops to relax in style after completing the full challenge. Partakers of this event will have access to the “challenge” leaderboard, where all your runs or walks can be tracked. Make it your purpose to go for a laid back stroll a few days a week and celebrate in style when you finish before December 25.

Fins Up! For some, wearing the official Margaritaville Run medal will be just enough to escape to that perfect beach resort and bring a smile to your face. Package includes the finisher medal only and access to the 5 Kilometers Somewhere Leaderboard to post your time.
