We'll have a live Mardi Gras band, A Confederacy of Dumpsters, complimentary appetizers from 6:30 - 7:30 pm, a full cash bar, an art show of UVA member's work, silent auction for valuable gifts, 50/50 raffle, dancing, and an art slideshow. Come and be part of the excitement. Share a good time with artists and other art supporters from throughout the area. We'll provide the beads and masks too! The Green Briar in Brighton Center is on the 57, 65, 86, 501, and 503 bus lines. Major sponsors include the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Harvard Ed Portal.

Don't know what Mardi Gras and Carnival is all about? No problem, it's basically a huge world wide secular celebration that happens every year.
