Would you like to learn to cook amazing and healthful food for yourself or loved ones? Shire City Sanctuary's monthly cooking class is just the thing for you.
For March participants will learn to make Pot Pie Tempeh. Students will work through the process of making and shaping the dough as well as preparing the corn, peas, and potatos for the filling. Everyone will leave with 2 Pot Pies to take home for dinner that evening! Please note this class will run 2.5 hrs.
Mariana Bergtold, a chef who studied at Paris' renowned Cordon Bleu and who used to run the Dancing Vegan restaurant in Pittsfield will lead students through the process of preparing and cooking a healthy and hearty meal made entirely of organic, vegetable-based ingredients.
Children 12 and up are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult also enrolled in the class. Cost is $15 for adults, $8 for children under 16. Pre-registration is necessary.
