Scott Allen Jarrett, conductor
Featuring Jacquelyn Stucker, soprano
Yoni Kahn, horn
This rollicking program features a little of everything, including Beethoven Symphony no. 1, wild romantic horn antics featuring Grand Harmonie co-founder and principal horn Yoni Kahn, a pirate-themed overture performed by the Grand Harmonie wind band, and Jacquelyn Stucker singing a most impassioned and dramatic concert aria.
We are pleased to offer two different concert formats for this program. The March 25th performance at the Somerville Armory will feature an in-the-round atmosphere, with pre-concert reception and time to explore the music from the inside out. It’s more of a party than a concert. Our presentation on March 26th at Second Church Newton will be a more traditional concert atmosphere. Then again, Grand Harmonie has never really been known for doing anything "normal"...

Ludwig van Beethoven: Concert aria "Ah! Perfido" op. 65
Carl Maria von Weber: Concertino in E op. 45
