Description

Keeping March Green: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Plan Ahead!

Join us for a conversation with Julie Kearns of Junket Tossed & Found on how to keep your business resilient in the face of climate change. After decades on the political back burner, climate change has quickly become a top-of-mind national priority. While we don't know exactly how this will impact the business landscape, it is in our best interest to figure out how our businesses can smoothly transition to a carbon-constrained future. Julie will share a framework for proactively adapting business models to this known carbon constraint, with Q&A to follow.

Hennepin County staff will also be present to share about their Business Recycling Grants, reducing food waste, free signage, site visits and additional resources available to help make your business more sustainable.

We will be hosted by Julian McFaul of Adventures in Cardboard. During their summer camps, AIC uses post-consumer cardboard to make castles, dragons and more that allow children to create their own fantastic places to inhabit and explore. Come see how they have transformed the old Flair Fountains building into an incredible workshop for inspiring creativity in kids and adults alike.

As always, drinks and snacks will be on hand. We look forward to seeing you there!
