March Fun 5k Theme:
“MVP March”
Fun 5ks was launched with the vision to truly participate in Fun Runs the way they were intended: Having FUN! You can participate from *anywhere*! We encourage you to be creative with the theme, your costume, and how you complete your 5k!
(Most.Valuable.Player.) Who is your MVP? We're talking more than just sports here (but that works too!) The beauty of MVP March is that you can represent the MVP of literally ANY category!
Spreading the Fun: We are a donation based event series. This means each month all of the registration/donation proceeds from the 5k will go to a selected organization. This month we are partnering with The Loveland Foundation.
How Fun 5ks Works:
BEFORE MARCH 19TH ...
- Click TICKETS to register for the #MarchFun5k. Donate what feels right. (minimum $1)
- Find or create a costume related to the theme
THE WEEK OF MARCH 19TH - MARCH 26TH ...
- Get outside and Run, walk, hop, or crawl a 5k during the week: but have FUN
- On Instagram, share a photo to @VFun5ks to your timeline
- Be sure to use the hashtags #VFun5ks and #MarchFun5k
AFTER MARCH 26TH...
- Cross your fingers to win the raffle
- Vote on the best costume of the month via @VFun5ks on Instagram
Raffle Prizes & Costume Contest:
Each month the Fun 5k will run for 7 days. At the end of the week, there is a raffle for the chance to win various prizes. Your $1 registration & donation to the selected charity automatically enters you into the raffle.
We really want to motivate you to be creative with your theme-related costumes. We’ll use Instagram at the end of the week to host a Costume Contest! The community will vote on their favorite costume, selecting a winner to receive an additional prize from one of our amazing sponsors.
