March Farm Dinner 2017
Fri, March 24, 2017, 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM EDT
Join us for Glynwood's annual Cheeses of the Hudson Valley taste immersion and multi-course dinner.
Guest chef Matt Hutchins is best known for his role as co-founder and Executive Chef of The Hop, in Beacon, New York, where his passion for local, seasonal ingredients and commitment to sourcing from local Hudson Valley farms transformed this local gastropub into a world-class destination. After The Hop closed in 2016, he accepted the position of Executive Chef for The Beacon Hotel's new restaurant.
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), Matt completed his externship at Chez Panisse, after which he became chef at Birdsall House in Peekskill, New York. Also a trained butcher and master forager, he is featured in Francesco Mastalia's photography book, Organic: Farmers and Chefs of the Hudson Valley, in which he is quoted:
"There are great farms in the Hudson Valley, and people support those farms. People want to know where their food comes from. There is a real push for it, there are people fighting for it, standing up and yelling and screaming about it, and people are listening. That's why it's so exciting."
Payment is required when making your reservation. All ticket sales are final as we are unable to offer refunds. In the event that bad weather forces the closing of Glynwood Road and the dinner is cancelled, purchased tickets will be refunded.
Please keep in mind that Glynwood Farm Dinners are BYOB events. Vegetarian meals are always available. We are happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions, so please let us know of any when registering.
Overnight accommodations are available following all Farm Dinners for $100+tax (double occupancy rooms). A light breakfast will be provided.
Please contact Glynwood’s Events and Outreach Manager, Lauren Dellolio, at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions about our Farm Dinners or overnight farm stays.
