Our cheesemaker events have returned with a new format for the new year! Instead of the monthly, we are hosting a bigger event every three months with three cheesemakers at once in the tasting room: a more casual setting that will accomodate more people and get tasters way more types of cheese! The cheesemakers for our march 3rd event will be Marin French Cheese Co., Achadinha, and the brand new Moonside creamery - everything from gooey bries to extra aged goat, raw milk deliciousness, stinky to seductive. Participants will have the opportunity to walk around and taste cheeses from all three creameries, and talk with the cheesemakers about what they are tasting. Leslie Goodrich, owner of Lala's urban farmstand, will also be serving tastes of her delicious artisanal jams alongside the cheeses. Everything tasted (wine/cheese/jam/salami) will be available for sale to take home.
Ticket price includes two glasses of our wine, as many tastes of the different cheeses as you like, tastings of Lala's jams, and accompanying breads/salumi. There will be limited seating in the tasting room, but plenty of seating in the adjoining lobby of hotel petaluma. This is a pre-sold ticketed event.
