Yang Style Taijiquan and Health Qigong Classes

Instructor: Zhou Shufen
Time: Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Tuition: $65/month for online registration, $75/month for on-house registration

In 1956, China’s National Physical Education Association created the “24 Stances of Taijiquan” based on the Yang Family style of Taichi, which was taught in the Imperial Courts of Beijing. Movements are graceful and fluid, generating internal strength that is not obvious. The stances are easy to learn and practice, helps to improve balance and agility.

Yang Style Taiji is suitable for all ages and physical dispositions. Students should come to class in comfortable clothes and shoes.

About the Instructor
Zhou Shufen is certified to teach by the China National Martial Arts Association, with a China Martial Arts Ranking of 6th Rank. A National First Class Social Physical Education Instructor in China, Zhou is also a Guangzhou Martial Arts Association Physical Health Quigong Committee Supervisor, First Prize winner of the Guangdong Provincial Taijiquan Sword Competition, and a winner of 5 Gold Medals at the 2010 US National Martial Arts Competition.
