Robert Christensen, President and owner of Amada Senior Care Bellevue, realized an aging America would need quality senior care services in the coming years. Eager to play a part in meeting this need, Robert purchased the franchise rights to the Portland, Oregon area in December of 2013. Due to past experiences with loved ones, taking care of seniors is very close to Robert’s heart. In 2005, Robert’s mother-in-law Vicky passed away from cancer; and the last six months of her life were filled with hospitals, hospice and caregivers. The care experiences Vicky had towards the end of her life inspired Robert to build a business providing the highest quality of care for others.Robert loves the fact that he is now able to provide comfort, caring and companionship to seniors in need of care – and to bring their families peace of mind.
Stuart MacMillan has been in the business of helping people live more comfortably during their senior years since 2009, which is also when he secured his own reverse mortgage.Stuart is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), has completed the National Association of Home Builders Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) training, and is a charter member and volunteer with the PNA Village, a community aging in place support service sponsored by the Phinney Neighborhood Center in Seattle.
