MARC2026

The MTL Annual Research Conference (MARC) is a student-led conference for members of the MTL/MIT.nano community, showcasing cutting-edge research in microsystems and nanotechnology at MIT. MARC also provides an opportunity to network with MIT colleagues and with representatives from the Microsystems Industrial Group.

This year’s conference will be held at the Omni Mt. Washington Resort, offering participants the chance to enjoy winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and more.

Lift Tickets & Winter Activities

Alpine ski and snowboard lift tickets must be purchased through this site to receive the discounted rate of $65 per ticket.
Each person may purchase one lift ticket.

Rentals and helmets must be booked separately through Omni’s alpine rental website. Lessons are also available through Bretton Woods Ski School.

Please reserve rentals or lessons as early as possible. They cannot be booked on-site if not arranged in advance.

For additional winter activities—such as canopy tours, scenic gondola rides, and sleigh rides—please book directly through Omni’s winter activities website.

Transportation & Ticket Pickup

• If taking the bus: You will be on the early bus on January 27, 2026 if you plan to participate in winter activities. Lift tickets will be distributed on the bus.
• If driving yourself: You may pick up your lift ticket at the Bretton Woods ski lodge.

Lift tickets are valid on January 27, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Ticket Sales Deadline

Ticket sales will end on January 14, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
This deadline is firm. Anyone wishing to purchase a lift ticket after this date must do so through Omni directly and will pay the full, non-discounted price.

Please note: An Eventbrite service fee will be added to each ticket purchase.

Tickets are non-refundable. If you choose to transfer your ticket to another conference attendee, please contact the Winter Activities Chair for assistance.
