Event description

Description

Over seventeen days and 14 venues the fifth edition of Mapping Melbourne creates new perspectives, new possibilities and new expressions through a series of intercultural, multi-artform events in the heart of Melbourne. Exhibiting and performing at some of our most iconic institutions and public spaces the festival profiles established and emerging artists form across Australia, China, Japan, India, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Sri Lanka. The series celebrates our unique Asian Australian identity and highlights positive global creative connections.

Join us for a special preview into the festival in this night of surprises as we launch the 2017 program!

Featuring a stellar line up including artist/dancer Yumi Umiumare, artistic performance collective Club Ate, live music by Haiku Hands and the Kaiju Hip Hop Jazz Project feat Kojoe & Aaron Choulai.

FREE EVENT.

Please RSVP by Monday 27 November.
