This year's Fourth of July fairgrounds will be accessible from 4 entrance gates, located throughout the north and south fields of Memorial Park. Our opening ceremony will begin at 8am at Ricalton Square. Our first scheduled activities at Memorial Park begin at 9am.
Wristbands will be required for entry beginning at 10am. These can be purchased online until July 3rd or at any of our gates on July 4th.
While there will be food as well as activities available for additional purchase onsite such as amusements and carnival games, many activities are included with your wristband purchase, such as our car show, all-day concert stage, fireworks, face painting, competitive eating contests, karaoke, be-your-own-DJ, and much more.
Tickets will be full price at the gate on July 4.
What's the difference between a circus ticket and the fireworks/entertainment ticket?
The circus ticket allows admission to a specific showtime of the Zerbini Family Circus, and includes free admission to all other live entertainment and the fireworks viewing area outlined in green on the map above.
The fireworks/entertainment ticket includes only admission to the live entertainment and fireworks viewing area.
What if I buy a circus ticket for a specific showtime, but then want to attend a different show?
We will do our best to accomodate you, but seating for circus performances are on a first-come, first-serve basis with preference given to those who have tickets for that specific showtime.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
The circus and the area outlined in green above require wristbands for entry for anyone over the age of 2.
What are my transportation/parking options getting to the event?
Street parking will be limited in the area surrounding Memorial Park. However, the park is adjacent to the Maplewood NJ Transit train station, and a free Jitney service will be running from the South Orange NJ Transit train station (schedule to be posted closer to the event).
What are my food and concession options at the event?
The entertainment area will feature a large concession area with a variety of food vendors, and several Maplewood Village businesses will be open that day as well. No alcoholic beverages are allowed in Memorial Park.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Tickets will be scanned at the entry gate and each ticket may only be redeemed for wristbands one time. Once wristbands have been attached, they may not be transferred. Damaged or broken wristbands will not be replaced.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You must show your purchase receipt to redeem at the gate for your wristbands. This can be a printed ticket, or on your phone via image or Eventbrite app.
What is the refund policy?
No refunds will be issued. Fireworks raindate will be July 5.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Yes. Tickets will be scanned at the gate and all wristbands will be issued to the ticketholder at that time. The individual redeeming the ticket for the wristbands does not need to match the name on the ticket.
Can I bring my dog to the event?
Dogs are allowed in Memorial Park. However, the park will be crowded and the fireworks are launched in close proximity to the viewing area. Please consider your pet's sensitivities before bringing them to celebrate with us.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
