Event description
Clay Pit Ponds hosts Maple Syrup Saturday

About this Event

Join us for Maple Syrup Saturdays! Learn about the process of turning sap to syrup along the way!

We will be leading guided maple syrup hikes every Saturday from January 23rd through February 27th at 11am or at 2pm. Each hike is limited to 9 participants, including all adults and children. One ticket equals one person. Please be sure you are reserving the number you need for your entire group. If that number is not listed on the drop down menu please try an alternate date or time. Thank you!

During the event we will be hiking up to 1 miles on the trails. Note that all maple trees have been tapped earlier in the season. Participants will learn how we tap trees on a practice stump and will have the chance to check and collect sap from the hanging buckets. All participants must be wearing masks and exhibit social distancing during the program. Programs will be outdoors and therefore weather dependent.
