Map the System is a global competition of the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship in partnership with educational institutions across the world. The competition challenges students to use ‘systems thinking’ as a guiding approach to understanding complex social and environmental challenges and create systems maps as a means to articulate their findings in a way that people can meaningfully understand, share, and learn from.

The Global Final

The Global Final is a chance for the top teams from all over the world to share their systems analysis with their peers, with the wider community and with the practitioner experts and academic educators who have guided them on their journey. Teams will have 10 minutes to present their research, followed by 5-10 minutes of Q&A from the judges.

Six finalists - chosen based on their level of insight and application of systems thinking - will advance to the public final round on 19 June 2022 and compete for cash prizes and audience favourite.

This will run as a hybrid event with two participation options:

Online attendance: For those who would like to watch our top 6 finalist teams via our livestream, please select an Online Ticket.
