Event description

Description

When it comes to manufacturing, we hear a lot about China - and for hardware startups, whether or not to use services in Shenzhen or locating a team in Asia are questions they are asking themselves, hardware veterans, and their investors.

But how does Germany, and its manufacturing legacy, measure up to options in China? Can it offer manufacturing capabilities and creativity to startups? How do the relationships you build with your manufacturer vary between these countries? If you start manufacturing in Germany, when and how do you start manufacturing in China? How can both ecosystems complement and learn from one another?

To answer these questions, we’re inviting manufacturing stakeholders - manufacturing experts and hardware startups that are in production - from China and Germany, so you will walk away with a better understanding of the opportunities, challenges, and services (and contacts!) on both continents.
