Join us on Sunday, October 8, 2023, and discover some of Minnesota’s most delightful bicycling. The Mankato River Ramble celebrates the best bike routes, baked goods and live music to be found in Southern Minnesota. Beyond rivers and lakes, waterfalls and award-winning pies; the city now sports one of the largest artworks in the state -- a ten-story-tall silo mural by Guido van Helten that honors Native Americans who have lived here for untold generations.

This year we're extending the Ramble festivities by offering a FREE ride on the Saturday before the main event on the Sakatah Trail. Just click the YES button when completing your order to receive more details.

Looking for a family-friendly Sunday route?

This year you can sleep in a little bit by signing up for the Minneopa-Meander! We're offering a out-and-back ride from Land of Memories to Minneopa park and back with a group start at 10AM for a total distance of about 8 miles.

Purchase a 2023 jersey by clicking here and having it shipped to your door before the ride!

Expect live bands and delicious refreshments at all four rest stops and the Land of Memories staging area. The Ramble is fully supported with sag wagons, ride marshals and mechanics.

The 12-mile Minneopa Fall Loop is a mostly traffic-free trail ride to Minneopa State Park where you’ll enjoy a 40-foot-tall waterfall and historic stone and timber shelter.

The 26-mile Pie Run takes you over the river and through the woods on the Red Jacket Trail to the Rapidan Dam Rest Stop. Savor a slice of homemade pie as you stroll over to the dam overlook and an awesome valley view.

The 42-mile Lake Crystal Loop has it all; Minneopa Falls, the best dam pie stop and quiet country roads that lead you to lovely Lake Crystal, then on to the lively rest stop overlooking the Minnemishinona Falls gorge. As you head for home you’ll bike through downtown North Mankato and a view of the magnificent silo mural.

Ride starts at Land of Memories

Riders may start no earlier than 8 a.m. Check-in between 7:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. at Land of Memories Park (long route riders should be on course by 9:45 am, all others must be on route by 10:15 am) Riders must finish by 3pm

Mankato is an easy 77-mile drive from the Twin Cities on scenic Highway 169. Local communities welcome 2,000 riders and volunteers who come to celebrate this handsome harvest-time tour and beautiful fall colors.
