Event description

Being a teenage girl presents its own set of unique challenges to becoming a leader of integrity and excellence. Many challenges exist in society today for teenage girls, such as coping with broken homes, depression and creating a self-image that fits into the social structure of being a cool teen. Confident, focused, and emotionally intelligent teenage girls are needed to combat the vicious cycle of low self-esteem, teenage pregnancy, and attempted suicide. Understanding the unique challenges of being a teenage girl today and creating appropriate life skill programs are critical to the evolution of producing healthy, confident, and focused teenage girls in our society and that is what the OK2B FACTOR is all about.

Manifesting The Dream: OK2B Teen Girl Conference is a full-day event hosted by Seed of Hope Foundation.

This year's event WARRIOR PRINCESS: HOW HARD ARE YOU WILLING TO FIGHT? is dedicated to empowering teen girls to COMBAT their fears, PUSH through the pain, ACHIEVE their goals and MAINTAIN their feminity (because after all we are still princesses).

Making your dreams a reality is not always easy, doesn't always go as planned, and at times can knock the wind out of you! BUT with a fierce tribe of like-minded sisters, a team to cheer you on, and a real live roadmap making your dreams a realty is certainly POSSIBLE.

This year we are testing our resolve, showcasing our strength and our courage, and knocking down all obstacles; so come prepared to fight!

If you ever attended one of our conferences; then you know we BRING IT! It's not just another conference, it's an experience. This event WILL SELL OUT!

- Age 11-15: do not sign a waiver themselves, but must be supervised and signed for by an 18+ year old when they arrive to their adventure. REQUIRED SUPERVISION: one participating Gorilla (18+) is required to supervise up to two Baboons (age 10-15).

The Go Ape Treetop Adventure Course is an outdoor activity. So, dress for the weather and come in clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Shoes with closed toes and closed heels are required. We recommend ankle-supporting boots, but sneakers are fine too. We do not allow participants to wear sandals, open-toed or slip-on shoes. Some participants like to wear gloves, especially if it’s cold or your hands are sensitive. We recommend fingerless exercise-style gloves for the best combination of protection and dexterity. Gloves are also available for purchase at the Go Ape cabin.
