Event description

Description

Preservation Worcester is excited to present the only Central Massachusetts showing of the 20th Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival. Join us from September 28 to October 8, 2017 when over 100,000 film lovers in over 250 cities around the world gather in Cinemas, Museums, Universities and Cultural Centers for one purpose…to view and vote on the Finalist’s Films in this year's Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival. Every film finalist is eligible to enter the 2018 Oscar competition.

Join us on Thursday, September 28th, as we present the premier of the Manhattan Short Film Festival, including a gala and silent auction to benefit Preservation Worcester. We open the night with cocktails (cash bar), refreshments and live entertainment from Worcester entertainer, Jennifer Antkowiak. This will be followed by a brief welcome from the evening's celebrity keynote speaker and of course the showing of the shorts. The evening concludes with the announcement of the silent auction winners. Tickets are $60 plus service charge.

Following the premier, we will be showing all of the films comprising the Manhattan Short Film Festival each night for 10 (ten) consecutive nights from September 29th to October 8, 2017 introduced each night by a guest host. Tickets are valid only for the date for which they were purchased. Tickets are $15 plus service charge.
