Description

"No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite." -- Nelson Mandela

This is the inaugural Nashville celebration to honor humanitarian Nelson Mandela.

We will honor him by continuing his tradition of showing love and equality for all people through educating young people more about their human rights and equality.

Thus, Youth for Human Rights has launched a summer arts contest for young people ages 5-18. The full contest details are available online at http://www.tnuhr.org. Winners and prizes will be given out in several categories at this celebration of Mandela Day!

Join us for a wonderful evening of lifting up our gifted young people while honoring the legend of Nelson Mandela.

The event is free to attend, but registration is required.
