Event description


There is a new training requirement for 2019! Effective January 1st 2019, employers in California with 5 or more employees (including independent contractors) must provide 1 hour harassment prevention training to all employees every 2 years. This requirement includes seasonal and even temporary employees hired to work less than 6 months and training must be completed with 30 days of hire or within 100 hours worked, whichever occurs first. All supervisors are also required to take a 2 hour harassment prevention training ever 2 years.
