Mandala Mindfulness

Want to improve your mindfulness? Make a mandala at CMATO!

The mandala is a universal symbol that translates to “the center and its surroundings.” Drawing and coloring mandalas are a popular way of expressing creativity and can help focus attention, relieve stress and promote mindfulness.

CMATO will present a series of mandala-making workshops with our friends at the Santa Paula Art Museum beginning Saturday, July 27. Led by art therapist and yoga instructor, Lynne Okun,

2019 Series Dates:

Saturday, July 27

Saturday, August 3

Saturday, August 10

“Mandala Mindfulness” will guide participants in the ancient practice of intricate pattern-making to deepen connections to their surroundings and inner self. Through creation of their own mandala, participants will experience contemplation, stress-relief and personal empowerment.
