Description

So... What is a mandala?

According to Carl G. Jung, a mandala is a graphical representation of the center, or ’Self’. It can appear in dreams and visions or it can be spontaneously created as a work of art. It is present in the cultural and religious representations.

Generally speaking a mandala is a geometrical form - a square or a circle - abstract and static, or a vivid image formed of objects and/or beings. They can be used for meditative purposes, therapeutic purposes - and/or just for fun, aesthetic purposes.

In a Mandala Making session, you’ll be supplied with all the tools, materials and guidance to create your own mandalas.

These sessions are informal: feel free to create in silence or chat with the group.

All materials are provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own materials if you prefer.

You also don’t need ANY experience in drawing: I can guarantee you a beautiful mandala regardless of how you judge your level of proficiency!

This really is just about relaxing, getting into a flow state and discovering what your mandala gives you.
