Event description

Description

Fellow TED Fans,

TED Talks are great conversation starters..but only when watch them in a group.

The Manchester TED Talk discussion group is about connecting with other people who want to discuss and act upon ideas worth spreading.

Our theme on the 24 Jan will be ‘Strong minds’.

If you want to make the most your goals and the energy that a fresh new year brings, then join us to explore the topic of mental resilience.

Learn and discuss practical ideas that will help you to make real progress in 2018.

This isn't just for high performing athletes or people doing incredibly stressful work, this is something that can make a dramatic difference to us all.

Watch, discuss, get inspired

To inspire our thinking, we’ll watch a TED video that speaks to this issue and then break into small groups to share our experiences and ideas.

The evening will also feature a guest speaker and the opportunity to ask questions.

Join us for a relaxed evening of inspiring discussion and learn how to better understand the valuable lessons that your day to day life is trying to teach you.

Best wishes

The meeting will take place at Texture in the Northern Quarter. Our venue features a large screen on which to watch the TED Talks and some excellent spaces for break-out sessions.
