About this event

This online symposium and networking workshop, brought to you by the University of Manchester (School of Environment, Education and Development) and the University of Melbourne (Centre for Contemporary Chinese Studies, Asia Institute), aims to promote interdisciplinary knowledge-sharing on water and facilitate knowledge exchange in human and environmental geography and allied disciplines (e.g., politics, sociology, development studies, environmental sciences, architecture and planning, environmental engineering, ecology, etc.). This network is initiated by Dongyang MI (Manchester) and Mengyao LI (Melbourne) as part of their GOLDEN (Global Doctoral Research Network) Partnerships through the Universities of Manchester and Melbourne supported by Dr Alison Browne, Prof. Deljana Iossifova, Dr Saska Petrova (Manchester) and Dr Sarah Rogers, Prof. Mark Wang (Melbourne). The network will be followed by a series of symposiums, workshops, seminars and networking events for extended discussion to explore water research in China and other Asian countries.
