This workshop provides an introduction to the key aspects of managing a small community group's finances, and is ideal for anyone looking to improve their confidence when dealing with finances.
We will explore:
- ways to keep your group’s money safe
- simple methods for recording income and expenditure
- using a budget to control spending.
You won't need any prior knowledge of bookkeeping and accounts. You will need basic literacy and numeracy skills. We'll be working on paper, so there is no need for computer skills at this stage.
