Managing Resources Through The Budget


December 19th | Lunch 11:30am - 12:00pm     Education Seminar 12:00pm - 1:50pm | 2 CPEs

Objectives:

Dennis Green CPA CGFM, AGA National Treasurer will be discussing how the Government Publishing Office (GPO) used the budget process to help manage their constrained resources each year.  Dennis retired December 2016 as their Chief Accountant.  He will also provide insight into how AGA uses its budget process to manage our various programs.  The goal is for this to be an interactive exchange of practices between, Federal, State, and non-profit organizations.  The budget process is not an event that only takes place before the year begins. 

This event will be our annual Holiday event.  At this event we will once again collect cans and non-perishable food items.  This time to support the FOX 10 food drive benefiting St. Vincent de Paul to feed the hungry this holiday season.  We will also collect toys at this event to benefit the Toys for Tots donation drive with the US Marine Core.  All toys donated for this event must be unwrapped.
