Struggling with plant pests and diseases? Looking for DEM approved pesticide credits for certification?

About this Event

This 3 hour workshop is DEM approved for 3 pesticide credits!

Experiencing issues with your plants or crops? Come learn from experts Andy Radin and Heather Faubert how to deal with common pests and diseases, such as: Aphids, Thrips, Flea Beetles and Powdery Mildew. Both will provide organic control recommendations for common pests and diseases. The workshop will take place at the University of Rhode Island Greenhouses at 123 Greenhouses, 6 Greenhouse Rd., Kingston, RI 02881.

Andy Radin and Heather Faubert are researchers and Agricultural Extension Agents based out of the University of Rhode Island. Both work within the Plant Sciences and Entomology Departments.

This is a free event. Registration is a courtesy for our Host Farms. Last minute attendees are welcome! Photographs may be taken at this event to be used for NOFA RI promotional material and appear on our webpage. This event is funded through the RI DEM via a USDA Specialty Crop Block Grant.
