Description

The Kanban Method as developed and promoted by David Anderson and the Lean Kanban University has become a powerful method for teams and organizations to:

  • Attain relief from overburdening
  • Make decisions with confidence
  • Achieve predictability
  • Deliver on customer expectations
  • Contribute to organizational agility

This Kanban System Design class, the first step in becoming a certified Kanban Management Professional (KMP I), will cover the principles and practices of the Kanban Method, providing you with the tools you need to adopt a lean and evolutionary approach to agility that will fit your work and business context.

KMP I Course Description

Suitable for managers and leaders involved in the delivery of professional services such as application development, infrastructure, or operations, the Kanban System Design (KMP I) certification class prepares participants to move beyond simple visual management and team Kanban to full customer-focused service delivery Kanban systems.

During the two days, you will be involved in regular hands-on simulations, exercises, and discussions that will provide you with a deep understanding of the Lean Kanban principles and practices and give you experience of how Lean Kanban helps individuals, teams, and organizations to balance the workload, visualize work, and improve the delivery of high-quality services and products.
