Young businesses can grow fast with the right leadership, but cash can be tight until the business reaches a profit-generating phase, so paying your key people in line with expectations can be a challenge. Businesses in a growth phase can also encounter culture-change problems as a relaxed atmosphere turns more ‘corporate’.
Matthew Clayton will look at some of the employment law issues involved and Caroline Leviss will explore alternative ways of incentivising and retaining your key talent, as the business develops.
