Coaching is a goal-orientated, solution-focused process in which the coach works with the person being coached, "a talent", to help identify and construct possible solutions, delineate a range of goals and options, and then facilitate the development and enactment of action plans to achieve those goals.
This unique learning experience expand the personal capacities of the New Director in leading self, leading others, and leading the organization. Based on the model, Leadership Divided by Ron Carucci, participants will learn about the three levels of transformation on which change occurs, about the six patterns of cross-generational leadership relationships, about thier own strengths and development needs, and build skills and knowledge to enable them to participate in leadership relationships.
Dr. Kenneth Mitchell is a Board Certified Coach with expertise in life design strategies and psychometric instruments. He teaches the certification pathway for academic coaches through Coach Praxis, as accredited by the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE). Dr. Mitchell has a bachelors degree in economics, an MBA in management, and an earned doctorate in organizational development. A He will serve as the lead facilitator for this learning event.
REGISTRATION is limited to New Directors, as defined in the program regulations, who have successfully completed either the P6 training or online program in 2016-2017.
