TARGET AUDIENCE

This course is primarily designed for OB-GYN and Family Medicine Physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives, and Sonographers. All other obstetric related health care providers are invited to attend.

COURSE OVERVIEW

Our maternal-fetal care team along with pediatric and adult specialists will discuss common and complex maternal medical conditions affecting pregnancy. This multidisciplinary conference will address identification and management of medical issues frequently affecting maternal and fetal health in the antenatal and postnatal periods.

Learning Objectives

• Identify current management and treatment options for maternal health conditions during pregnancy.
Describe the effects of maternal health conditions on pregnancy.
• Explain the effects of pregnancy on maternal health conditions.
• Recognize when to refer or obtain consults for maternal or obstetrical complications.
