Best of LA

We are good guys who go hiking together every Sunday in Griffith Park (since 2011).

Shared Wisdom

I started this hiking group because I realized I didn't really have any close male friends in Los Angeles. I figured it was because I didn't have a reason to hang out with good guys consistently. So I set up this hike, and men started showing up. Since then I've built some of the best friendships of my life because we had something easy, consistent, and fun to do together.

There's no dogma, but we do get real about life and are thoughtful about masculinity. Each week we have an accountability circle at the end of the hike where we each commit to accomplishing one win for the upcoming week.

Basically, we hike, we talk about life, and we hold each other accountable to our best selves. It's pretty powerful.

If you're a man in Los Angeles who wants to have a consistent place to gather with other good, purpose-driven men and get real about life, this might be the thing for you.
