Description

"Mālama the Invasives: E ʻai i ka mea loaʻa - Eat what get"

Mālama Loko Ea Foundation would like you to join us for a dining event focusing on eating what we have available - lots of invasive species!

Our Mālama the Invasives event will include food, an open bar, live entertainment, and tours of the pond.

We are teaming up with four acclaimed chefs where they will prepare two dishes each, where each dish includes at least one invasive species.

Our featured chefs include Executive Chef Eric Oto from Hoku's restaurant at the Kahala Hotel & Resort, Chef Mark Noguchi owner of the Pili Group, and Chefs Tammy and Danny Smith owners of Hale Kealoha - Ai Pono, Hawaii's best Hawaiian food, and Chef Ed Kenney, owner of Town, Mud Hen Water, Kaimuki Superette, and Mahina & Sun's.

Honolulu Beerworks will be sponsoring as well!

VIP guests will have a private dining area, wine pairing with each dish, and will receive gift bags.

Guests will "graze" all the dishes prepared from each chef and enjoy an open bar at the beautiful Loko Ea fishpond.
