Making Waves

Making Waves is for young people aged 11 - 18 (School Years 7 - 1`3). As this is a new project, we ask everyone to respect the age bandings and help us create something great for those of secondary school / college age.

YES - We are looking to serve burgers, hot dogs and potato smilies as well as salad bits for those who prefer a healthier option. We will also be looking to cater for anyone with dietary requirements.

NO - The event is offered free so let us know if you're planning to be there and then come and enjoy what we are hoping will be a great celebration.

NO - This is a Christian event where we will be engaging in worship and sharing about what faith is and how it can shape our lives. However, we welcome any young people in the 11 - 18 age bracket regardless of whether or not you would consider yourself a Christian

No - For Safeguarding reasons we are only able to admit safely recruited adult volunteers and those who are helping at the event. If you are planning to come as a group we ask that you come with a youth leader. Parents are asked to drop and go and collect your young people at 8.45pm

We will have food available on arrival and time to hang out together. We will then be looking to do some icebreaker games. There will then be a time of worship led by our band followed by input from Mark Hayward on how faith has shaped his life. finally there will be an opportunity for prayer.
