Making Things Happen Emerald Coast
Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (CDT)
Pensacola Beach, FL
The Making Things Happen workshop is an intensive designed to fire you up. This is the second year of this nationally-acclaimed SOLD OUT tour. Spend an afternoon with Lara Casey and MTH alum Emily Ley and Gina Zeidler to make a clear, active, successful plan for your future. We'll be asking attendees vital (ie- hard) questions and require that participants be ready to lay it all out on the table. This workshop is not for the faint of heart, but for all creative professionals who really want to change, grow, and harness their full potential in the new year. Just a few of the topics covered: conquering fear, discovering your strengths, eliminating distractions, making bold leaps in business, carving out an environment to flourish in, the people you surround yourself with, living your ideal day, authenticity and clear action. Making Things Happen was founded on the idea that you have the choice to change your life and in turn your business. *There are two alum seats available per city. To reserve, email Marissa for details.
The Making Things Happen Intensive is about personal evolution as a first step in changing your business. As a next step, past alum and attendees from that day are invited to choose an individual half-hour one-on-one branding and business intensive with Lara + Emily, partners in the wildly successful MakingBrandsHappen.com. There are only two sessions available per city and are held immediately following the main workshop from approximately 6-7pm.

About Lara: Lara Casey was born in Washington, D.C. but spent most of her youth on the shores of Pensacola Beach, Florida. Lara graduated with honors from Carnegie Mellon University and studied art and design at Yale University. Her success are wide-ranging: Lara has worked as a celebrity personal trainer in Manhattan and served as a contributor to Shape magazine. Lara wears many hats within her parent company, Lara Casey Media. She currently is the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Southern Weddings® magazine, founder of the Making Things Happen movement and a noted branding expert with her luxury wedding market consulting firm, Lara Casey Reps. Lara frequently speaks on branding, marketing and the luxury wedding market. She has been a speaker at such noted events as Engage!, WPPI, Eventology, WedSmith, The Total Package and on the Making Things Happen Tour, which recently completed its 27th national tour stop. She is especially grateful for the many hats she wears through Lara Casey Media, and is inspired daily by the hand she plays in helping others soar. Lara lives in Chapel Hill, NC, with her husband Ari, and loves to ski, paint, eat very spicy things and TCBY (sometimes together, as she is expecting her first child on 11.11.11!) and travel. She frequently gives people her Delta Skymiles number instead of her social security number.
