About this Event

Learn about the most effective way to connect clients to the services they need and where to send them using the DuPage County's Community Resource Information System, DuPageCRIS.org.

Our speakers are:

Bridget James, Intake and Referral Manager at DuPage County Community Services for the past 7 years. She oversees a team of Information and Referral Specialists that assess clients for 20+ county programs and her team uses DuPageCRIS.org daily. She has an MSW from Aurora University and is licensed Social Worker (LSW). She also is certified as a AIRS Community Resource Specialist (CRS), ROMA (Results Oriented Management Accountability) Implementer, Senior Health Insurance Program Counselor (SHIP) and a Certified Application Counselor with Affordable Care Act.

Tariq Khondker, is a Senior Research Coordinator at DuPage County Community Services who joined DuPage County in February 2018 after spending nearly 10 years wearing various hats in both the public and non-profit sectors. Prior to his current involvement with DuPageCRIS.org, his affinity for data-driven policy analysis began while working for the City of New York, before stints in internal auditing, quality assurance and other administrative support roles for non-profit organizations both in the U.S. and abroad. After moving to the Chicagoland area, he spent a year working in Chicago’s e-commerce scene before joining his current team in DuPage County Community Services. He has a BA in History and an MS in International Relations.

CEUs are available for Social Workers, Nurses, and Licensed Professional Counselors.
