Making the Most of Your 30-Minute Session
Treatment time is very limited for the EI clinician. This session will focus on developing creative ways to efficiently utilize a short treatment session using the International Classification of Functioning (ICF) as a framework for decision making. Based on the most current literature relating to motor learning principles and using clinical reasoning skills. Participants will make “every minute count”.

Course Description:
This series combines lecture, case studies with analysis, advanced reading and interpretation of current/important articles and group discussion in order to enhance clinical skills. Clinicians interested in increasing and improving their repertoire of interventions which can be directly applied to current and future caseloads should be attending this series. Led by master clinician, Julianne Costa, OTR/L, DPT, along with guests from different disciplines; participants will have the opportunity to study, learn and sharpen skills, whole sharing experiences and interacting with peers.

Initial topics are outlined to the right, but our long-term goal is to create an ongoing study/learning initiative where the group creates the agenda based on current challenges, issues and cases.

Learning Outcomes:
Develop creative and effective ways to utilize a short treatment session using the International Classification of Functioning (ICF) as a framework.
